Tonight I had one of those "Oh dang it moments." (Note to all this is going to be a strange post but, my husbands been gone since 7am and it's 8pm and here's my outlet:) Oh dang with a "How in the heck did that happen?" See, I decided to make M&M pancakes for dinner. They were awesome by the way and a big hit with Abby. When my transfer of pancake batter didn't go so red hot with one of them. I still can't believe it happened but there's a SMALL space between our stove and counter top. I guess I could basically stop right here because anyone could guess what happened. Yes, somehow I now have M&M pancake batter "caked" down in between an impossible spot. Yes, a cockroaches dream find of about 2 tablespoons of batter precisely two M&M's (Two because I distinctly heard two hit the floor.) The only thing that has kept me from cleaning this up myself is that our oven is gas and I don't feel like a gas leak tonight. So, when Robby gets home tonight at 10pm a project as annoying as keys in a covered drain awaits him.
As a side note, things are going well. Robby is studying very hard since he doesn't have a biochemistry major. He's working hard in his two classes and doing well. Abby is adjusting well to her "new school." Some day's are better then others. So, I guess it's safe to say Abby's a human/woman. She comes home most days saying she's sad that all her kids are lost without her. Lastly, work is okay for me. It's getting better as I continue to learn the ropes of being a fabulous nurse. Like Abby some day's are better then others but I think it will only get better with time.
I must say that I miss my family terribly and your love and support is felt! Continue to pray for us. All I want at this point is Abby to be happy and Robby to have his dream manifested.
Wow from pancakes to dreams, this has turned out to be something of a post. I'll continue to try to update things as we go!!!
